Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Graig Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Frombois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Graig Romero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Frombois! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Josh West and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frombois displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Romero. A jab from Frombois misses. Frombois misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Romero.
Frombois manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Romero on his heels. He'll look to pass Romero's guard now, I'm sure. Romero will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Frombois works a leg free and moves into half guard. Frombois wants to take a breather but Romero is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romero avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Frombois. Frombois controlling the action here. Romero is trying to get back to full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Frombois lands a left and a right that send Romero crashing to the mat, dazed. Frombois thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Romero is rocked!
It looks like Graig Romero has been cut. Frombois dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Romero has had enough and taps out.
