Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Diaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brett Hart! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hart is looking to break free of the clinch but Diaz has double underhooks. Hart has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Diaz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Hart fails to pull guard.
Diaz wants to stall.
Hart misses with a punch on the inside.
Diaz wants a takedown.
Hart is trying to pull guard but Diaz has him pressed against the cage. Nick Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Hart. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Hart has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hart misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Diaz.
Diaz has Hart pressed against the cage.
Diaz jumps into guard, dragging Hart to the mat.
Hart's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hart wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hart is looking to stand up but Diaz won't let him. Diaz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hart is controlling him. Hart is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Diaz is on top in guard.
Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Hart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hart pulls Diaz in to control the position. Diaz trying to control the position from guard on top but Hart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Diaz postures up in Hart's guard and throws a big left but Hart blocks it. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Diaz passes easily into side control. Nice work. Diaz trying to control the action but Hart is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz misses with the ground and pound. Diaz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Hart tries to improve position but can't. Diaz tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hart can do anything to dispel that myth. Diaz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hart knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Diaz is looking to take a break and control but Hart is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Diaz is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Diaz ducks right into an uppercut from Hart. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Diaz shoots in looking for a takedown but Hart manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Diaz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hart digs a good body shot into Diaz's ribs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Diaz dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hart scores with a nice strike. Diaz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Hart blocks a head kick by Diaz.
Diaz dives in for a single leg takedown but Hart sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hart lands a jab to Diaz's midsection. Hart fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hart misses with the combination.
Hart scores with a crisp jab that stopped Diaz in his tracks. Hart connects with a nice looking jab.
Hart lands a two punch combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hart lands with an uppercut that bounces Diaz off the cage and back into range. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hart. Hart throws a series of strikes that have Diaz backpedaling.
Diaz is rocked! Hart keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! You can follow us on Twitter at...Ooooooh Diaz got wobbled bad by a big combination! Hart presses forward with punches and knees until Diaz stumbles to the ground! The ref watches Diaz closely before deciding to step in and end the fight!
