The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yury closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hendo blocks the elbow strike.
Hendo manages to break the clinch.
Hendo clinches.
Hendo keeps control of Yury as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hendo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Yury has closed the distance and engaged Hendo in a clinch.
Hendo manages to pull guard.
Hendo wants to stand but Yury is controlling the position.
Hendo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hendo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yury is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hendo is on top in guard.

Whack! Yury lands a heavy head kick that drops Hendo. The ref tackles Yury to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Hendo was done.
