Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between raito yagami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlito Seize (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
yagami connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Seize momentarily.
Seize pushes yagami up against the cage in a clinch.
Seize breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Seize drives through with a takedown into guard.
Seize prevents yagami from getting back to his feet.
yagami will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Seize wants to stand but yagami is controlling his posture from full guard.

Seize slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Seize drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Seize postures up in yagami's guard and throws a big left but yagami blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Seize throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as yagami works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
A jab from yagami does it's job there.

and Seize decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in yagami's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

yagami tries to land a front kick but Seize steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

yagami has Seize pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. yagami pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Seize tumbling to the mat - yagami dives into Seize's guard.

yagami tries to free his leg and advance position but Seize is retaining full guard.
yagami stands up over Seize, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

yagami has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Seize is proving hard to escape from.
Seize working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. yagami doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. yagami manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
yagami wants to control from the top but Seize keeps moving.

yagami slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
yagami lands a nice shot to the body.
yagami throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Seize stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
yagami lands with a nice combination. Seize backs away looking to recover.
yagami fails to land the takedown.

Seize closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

yagami has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Seize is working away from the top position though.

Seize stands up and beckons yagami to join him on the feet.
Seize shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
yagami is looking to improve his position.

yagami is pressing down on Seize's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Carlito Seize has got the better of the ground game so far.
Seize controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Seize won't allow yagami to sweep him here.
