Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Niall Kellly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoody Hooty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooty has a takedown stuffed.
Kellly slaps away a takedown attempt from Hooty, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hooty drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kellly wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Hooty prevents Kellly from getting back to his feet.
Hooty trying to control the position from guard on top but Kellly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hooty is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hooty wants to clinch.

Hooty throws a series of punches but Kellly moves out of range.
Hooty fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kellly avoids it really well and circles away.

enabling Kellly to counter with a crisp jab.
Hooty rushes Kellly and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hooty turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hooty manages to end up in side control.
Kellly tries to bench press Hooty off him but Hooty keeps the position.
Kellly can't do much from the bottom here.
Hooty is staying tight to Kellly's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Kellly stops Hooty from passing to mount.

You can see the frustration on Kellly's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kellly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kellly wants to get back to his feet but Hooty drags him back down.
Hooty is looking to take a break and control but Kellly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kellly stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kellly wants it to stay on the feet.
Hooty fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kellly avoids it really well and circles away.

Kellly looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hooty postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kellly is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hooty, into his guard.

Hooty is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hooty tries to close the distance and clinch but Kellly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hooty shoots for a double leg takedown but Kellly sprawls well. He's pushed Hooty's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hooty closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kellly did well to prevent Hooty getting side control.

It looked like Kellly was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Kellly feints a jab promting Hooty to slip. Kellly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hooty slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hooty will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Hooty drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kellly pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hooty fails with the takedown.
Hooty tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kellly swivels and escapes.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hooty misses with a knee strike.
Hooty goes for a takedown attempt but Kellly pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kellly gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hooty fails to pull guard.

Kellly breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hooty fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kellly sprawls well initially but Hooty persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hooty is looking to take a break and control but Kellly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kellly is looking for a sweep. Hooty is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kellly tries to kick Hooty off but Hooty keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hooty is controlling the pace.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kellly wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Niall Kellly.
I think Kellly has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
