Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kekoa Konani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konani comes to the cage accompanied by Hawaii '78. Timmons has chosen Take Me To Church as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kekoa Konani! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nate Timmons! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Konani fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Timmons clinches with his opponent.
Timmons cracks Konani with a nice body shot. Konani is breathing heavily. Timmons breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Timmons throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Timmons moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Kekoa Konani has been cut. Konani looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Timmons feints and then cracks Konani's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Konani down. Konani tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Timmons defends well and Konani ends up having to push Timmons into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Timmons clinches up against the cage. Timmons lands with a right to the head. Timmons tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Timmons lands a nice shot to the body. Timmons throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Konanis head. Timmons lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timmons tries to land knees in the clinch but Konani avoids the damage to the body. Timmons lands with a left to the head.
Konani is rocked! A shot in the inside from Timmons. Oh Konani is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Timmons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. That kick from Timmons tenderised Konani's leg. Konani is trying to keep his angry face on. Timmons rushes Konani and presses him up against the cage. Timmons tries to land knees in the clinch but Konani avoids the damage to the body. Timmons makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Timmons lands a big right hand that drops Konani! The killer instinct kicks in and Timmons finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Timmons!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate Timmons! Nate Timmons decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
