Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pale Monster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monster comes into the arena with Therapy blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Pale Monster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben King! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monster dives in and scores a takedown into King's guard. King pulls Monster in to control the position. Monster trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Monster controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. King has momentary wrist control but Monster slips an elbow through the middle. King keeping moving, preventing Monster from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Monster advances position into side control! Monster wants to control but King is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monster taking a breather here. Monster wants to control but King is keeping him busy. Monster looking to punish the body of his opponent here but King is avoiding damage well.
Monster tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. King stops Monster from passing to mount. King is looking to reverse the position. King is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Monster looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Monster takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Monster closes the distance and clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monster wants the takedown. King is fighting it off but Monster persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in King's guard against the cage. Monster not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Monster accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Monster wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. King throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Monster trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Monster throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Monster is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Monster throws an elbow that misses. King uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Monster's guard. Nice move by King!
Monster is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Monster has an active guard here but King has managed to pass into half guard.
Monster looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Monster actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pale Monster dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
King shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Monster is trying to defend but King finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Monster is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Total Impact, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Monster is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of King's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take King's back! King is trying to break free.
Monster scores with punches and elbows. Monster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. King is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Monster.
Pale Monster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Monster punches King on the ear. Monster is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Monster punishes King with strikes from the back mount. You can see the frustration on King's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Monster throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. King prevents Monster from getting a body triangle. Monster wants to control the position but King frees himself and scrambles - Monster manages to regain control in side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. King is being controlled here. Monster wants to take a breather but King manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Monster. Monster with a nice head shot there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monster working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Monster. King is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Monster defends well. Monster throws a big right hand that misses. Monster passes easily into side control. Nice work. Monster is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Monster connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused King some visible discomfort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Monster throws a strike aimed at the side of King's head but King avoids it well. The strikes coming from Monster are missing the target in this wave of attacks. King is looking for a sweep. Monster is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that King can do to turn this around? Monster is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, King has escaped the position, nice work there. Monster is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Monster lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pale Monster dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Monster keeps the fight on the outside. A momentary lapse in concentration from Monster enables King to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Monster manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. King is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Monster has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. King is looking to defend but Monster has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for King! Monster pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, King taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Pale Monster! A very excited looking Pale Monster made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
