Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elwood Hester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Zanik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ted Zanik will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ted Zanik!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zanik tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hester sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zanik somewhat.
Zanik drives through and clinches with Hester against the cage.
Hester is trying to pull guard but Zanik turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hester goes for a takedown attempt but Zanik pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Zanik closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zanik slows the pace down.
Zanik tries for a kimura but Hester is defending well.
Hester wants to control but Zanik postures up.
Zanik staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hester can't do much from the bottom here.
Hester could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Zanik tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Zanik wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hester keeps working.
Zanik is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hester looks calm but he's in trouble here. Zanik gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hester is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Zanik lets go of the hold and Hester can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ted Zanik!
