Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bam Bam Beastly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Ewert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beastly comes into the arena with Boadicea by Enya blaring out of the sound system. Bam Bam Beastly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewert lands a glancing blow to the side of Beastly's head.
It looks like Bam Bam Beastly has been cut.
Ewert throws a shot from downtown. Beastly moves away and avoids it.
Ewert defending well as Beastly loads up on a big left hand.
Beastly takes one on the button.
Beastly slips a straight right by Ewert.
Ewert throws a hook but Beastly avoids it easily.
Ewert fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beastly manages to avoid it.
Beastly misses with a head kick.
Ewert looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ewert defending well as Beastly loads up on a big left hand.
Beastly shoots in but no luck this time.
Norman Ewert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Beastly lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Ewert swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Beastly slips a straight right by Ewert.
Ewert jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Beastly counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Beastly uses his free foot to push down on Ewert's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ewert.
Ewert is looking to improve his position but Beastly isn't that keen on the idea.
Beastly looking to ground and pound but Ewert is blocking nicely.
Beastly trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Beastly fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beastly is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Ewert wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Beastly.
Beastly won't let Ewert get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Beastly throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Beastly looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Ewert can't escape the position.
Beastly thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Ewert is trying to stand.
Beastly looking to control but Ewert is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Ewert working to try and regain half guard.

Beastly throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Beastly throwing strikes here but Ewert is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Ewert holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Beastly tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Ewert tries to buck Beastly off but he can't manage it.
Beastly unloads with some shots from mount but Ewert bucks and avoids them well.
Beastly lands a big shot there that rocks Ewert but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ewert wants to hold on but Beastly pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beastly goes for an armbar but Ewert turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Ewert.
Beastly working for a triangle but Ewert defends it easily.
Ewert sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Ewert stops Beastly from standing up.
Ewert seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Ewert decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Beastly, up you get!
Ewert pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Beastly is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ewert scores with a jab to the body.
Ewert swings away with a body shot that misses
and Beastly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice defenses there by Beastly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Norman Ewert dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bam Bam Beastly's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ewert darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Ewert fails to land with a series of punches.
A swing and a miss from Beastly.
Norman Ewert is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Beastly avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ewert tries to bum rush Beastly with a series of wild strikes but Beastly uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ewert swings away with a body shot that misses
and Beastly counters with a stiff right hand.
Beastly takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ewert throws a left and a right that both miss
and Beastly counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ewert wants to get back to his feet.
Beastly is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ewert defends it well.
Beastly throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Ewert controlling the position well.
Ewert manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Ewert uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beastly.
Ewert lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beastly circles away quickly and effectively.
Ewert throws a hook to the side of Beastly's head but Beastly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ewert misses with a looping left.
Beastly throws the left hand but Ewert avoids the punch easily.
Beastly shoots in looking for a takedown. Ewert tries to sprawl out of it but Beastly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ewert manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ewert connects with a body shot.

A slow jab from Beastly misses its intended target.
Norman Ewert seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Beastly steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ewert.
Nice uppercut lands for Beastly. That snapped Ewert's head back.
Beastly swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ewert misses with a hook. Beastly ducked under it nicely.

and Beastly counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ewert missing with a left hand there. Beastly was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Ewert scores with a jab to the jaw.
Norman Ewert is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ewert cracks Beastly with an uppercut from hell and Beastly crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Ewert's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Beastly is rocked!
Ewert arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Beastly's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Norman Ewert!
