0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nestor Gorshkov! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorshkov with a jab. Gorshkov scores with the left hand. Totti knows he should have avoided that one. Totti closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gorshkov circles away. Gorshkov throws a series of punches but Totti avoids them all with ease. Gorshkov throws a right hand that Totti ducks under and follows up with a left that Totti also avoids with ease. Totti shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gorshkov as he jumps to the side. Totti avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Totti is defended easily by Gorshkov. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enrico Totti. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gorshkov tries to clinch there but Totti circles away.

Gorshkov looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Totti is working for takedown but Gorshkov is calmly controlling the position for now. Totti has Gorshkov pressed against the cage, preventing Gorshkov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Gorshkov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Totti slowing the pace effectively. Totti has clasped his hands together around Gorshkov's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gorshkov misses with a double jab.
Gorshkov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Totti swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fight stays on the outside here - Gorshkov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gorshkov swings away with a leg kick that misses. Totti fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Gorshkov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Totti is breathing heavily. Gorshkov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Totti manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Totti is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gorshkov. Totti has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gorshkov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Totti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Totti fails with a takedown attempt. Gorshkov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gorshkov wants to clinch up but Totti keeps it at a distance. Gorshkov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Gorshkov looks to land a combination but Totti avoids it well. Gorshkov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Gorshkov throws out a leg kick but Totti moves out of range and Gorshkov only half commits. Totti feinted with a counter takedown. Totti avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Totti throws a big counter combination but Gorshkov scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Totti closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gorshkov did well to prevent Totti getting side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Totti trying to control the action but Gorshkov is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gorshkov is looking to escape. Totti is trying to control. Gorshkov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Gorshkov looks like he's trying to stand up.
Totti wants to pass to mount but Gorshkov is defending the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nestor Gorshkov dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A right-left combo lands from Gorshkov. Gorshkov scores with a hook. Gorshkov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Gorshkov moves in looking to clinch but Totti pushes him off. Gorshkov tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Totti is able to avoid easily. Totti feinted with a counter takedown. Gorshkov misses with a double jab.
Totti looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Totti is pushing down on Gorshkov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gorshkov is fighting to maintain full guard but Totti has managed to sneak the leg through. Totti decides to return to a standing position. Gorshkov throws a series of punches but Totti avoids them all with ease. Gorshkov has been the more effective fighter overall so far. This has been an exciting period of action! No luck with that takedown attempt from Totti.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Totti on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Gorshkov throws a solid leg kick but Totti takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gorshkov. Gorshkov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Nestor Gorshkov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gorshkov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gorshkov wants to clinch up but Totti keeps it at a distance. Totti half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Totti slips a jab and a cross from Gorshkov.

Gorshkov lands with a nice body punch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gorshkov tries to work over Totti's front leg with a kick but Totti checks it. Gorshkov tries to bum rush Totti with a series of wild strikes but Totti uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nestor Gorshkov seems to be getting the better of the standup. Totti darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Totti with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Enrico Totti overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gorshkov is looking to escape. Gorshkov is staying active underneath Totti, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Totti is looking to advance position but Gorshkov won't allow it. Totti content to control rather than advance. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Totti stops Gorshkov from getting back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gorshkov is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Gorshkov throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A counter left hand to the body from Totti misses its target. Gorshkov throws a leg kick that misses. Gorshkov lands a jab-cross combination. Gorshkov tries to bum rush Totti with a series of wild strikes but Totti uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Totti tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gorshkov manages to circle out of the way. Gorshkov lands with a nice body punch. Totti circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gorshkov catches Totti with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Gorshkov fails in his attempt to clinch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Totti. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nestor Gorshkov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Totti shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gorshkov defends it nicely. Some wild striking there from Gorshkov.

Gorshkov jabs Totti to the body, keeping him at a distance. Gorshkov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Gorshkov is looking to clinch but Totti is avoiding it.
Totti seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. A punch combination from Gorshkov misses. Gorshkov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Totti blocks a low kick nicely. Totti avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gorshkov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Totti counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gorshkov won't be happy with that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Gorshkov is not content to let Totti control the position. Totti controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Totti tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Gorshkov being controlled for a moment. Totti's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Totti takes one to the chin there. A combination from Gorshkov does no damage. Gorshkov misses with a low kick. Totti throwing a counter right hand but Gorshkov manages to avoid it. Gorshkov with a nice cross. Nestor Gorshkov is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Gorshkov throws a leg kick and Totti counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Gorshkov! Totti controlling the position. Enrico Totti has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Totti wants to control but Gorshkov is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Enrico Totti. I think Gorshkov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
