Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenta Yuudai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dre Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yuudai comes to the cage accompanied by Know your Enemy - Yoko Kanno. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenta Yuudai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Dre Parker! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yuudai lands a nice looking body kick. Yuudai fails with an attempt to clinch.
Parker looks to land a right hand but Yuudai moved out of range. Yuudai cracks Parker with an open hand slap. Parker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yuudai.
Parker throws a right and a left that Yuudai avoids nicely. Yuudai misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Parker misses with a head kick.
Yuudai darts in and clinches Parker up against the cage. Parker blocks a body shot from Yuudai. I was talking to Yuudai's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Parker has had enough of the clinch but Yuudai keeps him there for the moment. Parker wants to get back to striking at distance but Yuudai won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yuudai has him pressed against the cage. That's one minute gone in the round. Parker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Yuudai misses with a short punch on the inside. Parker takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Parker throws an overhand right that lands on Yuudai's shoulder, as Yuudai tries to avoid the shot. Parker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yuudai. Yuudai circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Dre Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yuudai misses with an uppercut. Parker saw that one coming. Parker tries to move into range but Yuudai moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Yuudai connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. A jab from Parker misses. Yuudai stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Parker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Yuudai. Yuudai misses with a body shot
and Parker counters with a series of strikes. Yuudai will be more careful next time no doubt. Parker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yuudai. Parker throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Parker tries a head kick but it misses.

Yuudai is pawing at Parker, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Parker's nose. Parker is badly hurt! Yuudai pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Parker tries desperately to hold on but Yuudai is relentless in his assault! As Parker receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Yuudai away and this one is in the books!
