The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramsey misses the shot to the body.
Meis is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Ramsey missing with a left hand there. Meis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ramsey.

Ramsey lands a big uppercut and Meis crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Meis looks OK. Ramsey waves Meis back to his feet!

It looks like Radas Meis has been cut.

Ramsey throws a body shot but no joy.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Meis tries to clinch but Ramsey is having none of it.
Meis is looking to clinch but Ramsey is avoiding it.
Ramsey throws a lazy uppercut
and Meis counters with a nice uppercut.
Meis moves out of range as Ramsey strikes.
Meis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ramsey moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Meis blocks a jab.
Meis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ramsey paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ramsey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ramsey throws a leg kick that is checked
and Meis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gordon Ramsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramsey connects with a superb combination that knocks Meis out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Ramsey before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Meis!
