Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Bisping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Towers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Bisping! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Towers! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Towers fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bisping takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bisping swats away the attempt to clinch by Towers. Bisping throws a series of punches but Towers moves out of range. Bisping misses with a jab, cross combination.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Towers. Towers taking a breather here. Towers tries to stand but Bisping is controlling his head. Bisping tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Towers wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Towers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Towers working away. Towers decides to stand back up. Towers steps back and let's Bisping get back to his feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bisping fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bisping rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Towers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Towers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Towers looks gassed! Bisping trying to hold on to Towers's head to control him but Towers postures up.

Bisping is working hard here to advance position. Bisping is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Towers's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Towers's back! Bisping really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Towers.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bisping is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

A wild punch that just about connected. Bisping throws a right hand that Towers ducks under and follows up with a left that Towers also avoids with ease. Towers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bisping as he avoids it easily. Bisping lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bisping. Towers takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Towers looks to land a left hand but Bisping moved out of range nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bisping misses with the combination.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Towers darts in and clinches Bisping up against the cage. Bisping tries to break the clinch but Towers is controlling the position. Towers breaks the clinch.

Towers decides to pull guard. Bisping stands up from Towers's guard - Bisping perhaps looking for a knockout. Towers instigates a clinch. Bisping keeps control of Towers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bisping is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bisping wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bisping wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Towers has him pressed against the cage. Towers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bisping dodges the punch combination from Towers.

and Towers decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bisping's guard. Bisping managing to control the position. Towers stands and throws Bisping's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bisping keeping moving, preventing Towers from controlling successfully. Bisping manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Bisping throws a right hand that Towers ducks under and follows up with a left that Towers also avoids with ease. Towers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Towers being controlled here momentarily. Joe Towers has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bisping looking to hit a scissor sweep but Towers is one step ahead there.
