The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pettis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alfredo Sauce napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Pettis thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
A lull in the action here.

Pettis tries for a kimura but Alfredo Sauce is defending well.
You can see the frustration on Alfredo Sauce's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pettis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alfredo Sauce is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pettis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Alfredo Sauce is squirming around, avoiding Pettis's attempts to control the action.
