PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mountain Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Voronkoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Voronkoff comes into a darkened arena with his song building. System of a Down-Aerials kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Andrey Voronkoff was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 61 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 18 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Voronkoff!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Voronkoff stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Voronkoff wants it to stay on the feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Voronkoff! But no joy.
Rivera avoids a punch combination nicely.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Voronkoff moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Rivera! Voronkoff continues to tee off on Rivera, landing with a left and a right! Voronkoff connects with a right hand that leaves Rivera sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Voronkoff!
