Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Leduc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Duvalier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leduc comes to the cage accompanied by Trivium-Through Blood And Dirt And Bone. Duvalier comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Haitian National Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Leduc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Francois Duvalier! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Duvalier. Leduc blocks a jab. Duvalier swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Leduc counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Duvalier! Leduc controlling the position. Leduc wants to lay and pray for a moment but Duvalier keeps working. Duvalier dodges the ground and pound from Leduc. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leduc is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duvalier can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duvalier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Leduc tries to score with some ground and pound. Duvalier controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Leduc wants to control but Duvalier is keeping him busy. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Leduc goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Duvalier rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Leduc's guard! Nice work there by Duvalier! Leduc is pulling down on Duvalier's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leduc thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Duvalier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leduc. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Leduc is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duvalier working a defensive guard here.
Leduc trying to control the position from guard on top but Duvalier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Leduc throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leduc connects with a couple of short punches. Duvalier preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Leduc throws an elbow that misses. Duvalier uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Leduc's guard. Nice move by Duvalier!
Leduc looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Duvalier won't allow Leduc to sweep him here. Leduc will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Leduc has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Leduc looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Duvalier puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Leduc is doing well to control the position and prevent Duvalier from advancing to side control. Leduc tries to get to full guard but Duvalier has control of the leg. Duvalier wants to stand up but Leduc has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Duvalier lands a jab-cross combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joe Leduc will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Duvalier jabs Leduc right on the nose. Leduc blinks but takes it well. Duvalier wants to clinch up but Leduc keeps it at a distance. Duvalier throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Leduc counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Duvalier tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Leduc paws at him with a jab and circles away. Leduc with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Duvalier to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Joe Leduc has been cut. Duvalier throws out a loose jab but Leduc uses good head movement to avoid it. Duvalier throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Leduc changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Duvalier lands a big uppercut and Leduc crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Leduc looks OK. Duvalier waves Leduc back to his feet!
Leduc is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duvalier ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Francois Duvalier seems to be getting the better of the standup. Duvalier pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Leduc tries to counter with a takedown but Duvalier is quick to defend against it. Leduc keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Leduc displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Duvalier throws out the jab. Leduc slips a jab and a cross from Duvalier.
Duvalier uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Leduc. Are you kidding me?! Duvalier ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Leduc clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
