Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yrjo Pieru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coco Rocket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yrjo Pieru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coco Rocket!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocket tries to close the distance and clinch but Pieru swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pieru closes the distance and clinches up with Rocket, looking for a takedown. Pieru pushes Rocket against the cage but Rocket circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rocket misses with a body shot.
Pieru takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Rocket with a poor takedown
and Pieru counters with a shoot takedown. Rocket fights it but they end up in guard.
Rocket looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pieru is one step ahead there.
Rocket wants to get back to his feet but Pieru is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pieru lands a couple of elbows.

Rocket working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pieru doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pieru manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pieru prevents Rocket from getting back to his feet.
Pieru loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rocket wants to stand up but Pieru is controlling him.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rocket wants to control but Pieru is keeping busy.

Rocket is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Pieru scores with a couple of nice shots.
Rocket is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pieru prevents Rocket from improving his position.
Rocket has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pieru is working away from the top position though.
Pieru is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Pieru drops an elbow to the side of Rocket's head.
Pieru decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Rocket tries for a takedown but Pieru circles away easily
and Pieru counters with a shoot takedown. Rocket fights it but they end up in guard.
Rocket is rocked!
Pieru loads up on a big left hand. Rocket felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Pieru looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Rocket can't hide his disappointment, as Pieru celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yrjo Pieru!
