Mabogo's entrance music is 3 Doors Down - Duck and Run. A fine choice. Boykin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Пересмотри kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! Excellent takedown into side control there by Boykin.
Boykin has hold of Mabogo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mabogo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Boykin cranks the arm and Mabogo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mabogo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dimentiy Boykin!
After the fight, Dimentiy Boykin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
