Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Conan Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Ryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Conan Cash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shogun Ryu! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ryu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cash manages to avoid it. Ryu lands a jab to the head.
Ryu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ryu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Cash fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ryu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cash drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ryu sprawls and moves away. Cash showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ryu.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ryu. Cash does a little dance to reset his feet. Ryu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cash stands up from Ryu's guard - Cash perhaps looking for a knockout. Sloppy strikes from Ryu. Those never looked like landing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ryu misses with a few strikes there.
Ryu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cash to score an easy takedown into full guard. Cash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ryu is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Cash slips nicely into half guard. Ryu is in trouble now - Cash has advanced to mount! Cash controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ryu in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Ryu's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Cash looking to control and managing it successfully. BOOM! Cash connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Ryu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cash. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash controlling the position easily from mount. Cash lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Cash controlling the position easily from mount. Cash lands with some strikes. Cash raining down shots from the mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cash content just to control the position here. Cash won't let Ryu get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Cash sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. BOOM! Cash connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Conan Cash dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cash forces Ryu back against the cage and clinches. Cash throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ryus head. Cash crunches a lovely knee into Ryu's ribcage. Cash pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cash shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Cash is figuring out what he wants to do next. Ryu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ryu's head. Ryu avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cash. Cash trying to control from half guard but Ryu is working away. Still in half guard, Cash seems content to control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Cash is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ryu can do to turn this around?
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ryu lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cash circles away quickly and effectively. Ryu misses with a two punch combination.
Cash drives through and clinches with Ryu against the cage.
Ryu prevents the takedown attempt.
Ryu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cash shoots in and drives through. Ryu sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conan Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ryu fails to land with a series of punches.
Shogun Ryu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryu digs a good body shot into Cash's ribs. No joy there for Ryu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ryu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cash is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ryu sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Conan Cash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ryu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cash moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cash slips a jab from Ryu. Ryu throws a right and a left that both miss. It looked like Cash was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ryu. Ryu misses with the combination.

Ryu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Cash with a body shot. Ryu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Shogun Ryu seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ryu swings for the body but Cash moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cash gets a double leg takedown into Ryu's guard. Cash engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cash trying to control but Ryu is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Conan Cash will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Cash takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ryu misses with a wild combination.
Ryu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Ryu connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ryu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ryu wants it to stay on the feet. Cash tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ryu defends well and Cash ends up having to push Ryu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ryu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cash throws a body kick that misses and Ryu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cash has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ryu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Ryu is looking to break free of the clinch but Cash has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash jumps into guard, dragging Ryu to the mat.
Ryu is looking to stand up but Cash won't let him. Ryu must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cash pushes Ryu off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Cash is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ryu's half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cash passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ryu!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ryu is bucking up trying to escape but Cash cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Cash scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Ryu?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ryu blocking the ground and pound. Cash get's back to his feet. Cash takes the fight into the clinch. Cash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Conan Cash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cash is figuring out what he wants to do next. Ryu is looking to get back to is feet but Cash passes into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryu wants to try and get back to his feet. Cash controlling his opponent. Cash scoring with strikes but Ryu is staying in there. Cash controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Conan Cash showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
