Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zenek Zbyszek! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zbyszek sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reed somewhat. Zbyszek is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Zbyszek throws a lazy uppercut
and Reed makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Zbyszek throws a big shot that misses. Reed was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Zbyszek will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zbyszek tries to bum rush Reed with a series of wild strikes but Reed uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Zbyszek gets caught flat footed, as Reed shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Reed gets to his feet - Zbyszek follows without any prompting. No luck with that takedown attempt from Reed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zbyszek throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reed. Reed goes for a double leg but Zbyszek avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Zbyszek continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cyril Reed. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reed avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reed really is a fat lump.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Zbyszek does no damage. Reed showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Zbyszek.
Reed is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Zbyszek tries to bum rush Reed with a series of wild strikes but Reed uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Reed shoots in and gets a takedown into Zbyszek's guard. Reed drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Reed seems to have locked his on tight now - Zbyszek screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Reed, as he picks up the win!
