Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elton Mccoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Koreshkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elton Mccoy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrey Koreshkov! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koreshkov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mccoy's guard. Mccoy wants to sweep here but Koreshkov controlling him for the moment. Koreshkov trying to control the position from guard on top but Mccoy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Koreshkov controls from within his opponent's guard. Mccoy really is a fat lump. Koreshkov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Koreshkov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Koreshkov stops Mccoy from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mccoy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Koreshkov postures up and lands a big shot to Mccoy's brow. Mccoy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mccoy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Koreshkov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Koreshkov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koreshkov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Koreshkov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mccoy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mccoy has escaped and now he's on top!
Koreshkov is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mccoy frees his head nicely. Oh but Koreshkov has switched to an armbar! Mccoy is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
