Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Dellave!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dellave throws a half hearted mid kick.
Thiago Dellave seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Newson digs a good body shot into Dellave's ribs.
Dellave drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Thiago Dellave has been cut.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Newson checks a leg kick.
Newson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dellave misses with the combination.
Newson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dellave.
Newson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dellave throws a push kick but Newson slaps the foot to one side.
Newson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Dellave misses with a body kick.
Dellave will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Newson misses with a wild combination.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dellave throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Newson.
Newson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dellave's calf.
Newson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Newson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dellave stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dellave sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Dellave looks winded!
Newson drops Dellave with a huge uppercut! Dellave drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Newson is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jase Newson!
