Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snuka lands a leg kick that knocks Cortes off balance momentarily.
Cortes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Elite Fighting Temple in the buildup to the fight.
A right-left combo lands from Snuka.
Cortes looks to throw the jab but Snuka is out of range.
Cortes tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Snuka was well out of range. Poor timing from Cortes.
A jab from Cortes misses.
Snuka is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Snuka misses with a lunging right hand
and Cortes counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cortes.
Snuka can't break the clinch.
Cortes scores with a shot to the side of Snuka's head.
Snuka is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Cortes stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Snuka should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Snuka goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Snuka trying to stall but Cortes improves his position.
Cortes lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Cortes lands with a light punch inside.
Snuka is rocked!
Snuka looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Snuka is still on wobbly legs! Can Cortes finish him?
Snuka tries to circle away but Cortes has him pinned against the ropes.
Snuka seems to have recovered his senses.
Snuka wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Cortes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Cortes pushes Snuka against the ropes. Cortes is working some dirty boxing. Cortes pushes off with a quick right hook! Snuka goes down! Snuka tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Cortes moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Felipe Cortes!
A very excited looking Felipe Cortes made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
