The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brophy doesn't manage to clinch there - Hatfield circles away.
Brophy shoots in looking for a takedown but Hatfield manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brophy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hatfield swats away the attempt to clinch by Brophy.
Hatfield cracks Brophy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Brophy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brophy lands in his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hatfield has Brophy pulled in close to control his posture.
Brophy looking to sit in guard and control but Hatfield gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Brophy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hatfield gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Brophy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hatfield rolls with it to try and escape but Brophy cranks on the arm and Hatfield is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Conor Brophy decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
