Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrus Laane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Squirrel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laane comes to the cage accompanied by Sans Pression - Numero 1. Squirrel has chosen Bio Crisis - Delirio as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Squirrel.
Squirrel misses with a hook
enabling Laane to counter with a crisp jab. Laane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Squirrel wants to counter the offense by Laane and move into the clinch position. Squirrel throws a lazy uppercut
and Laane counters with a left and a right that stings Squirrel. Laane scores with a head kick.
Squirrel throws a right and a left that both miss. Laane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Laane moves into the clinch. Squirrel tries a body shot but Laane blocks it.
Squirrel swings wildly with an uppercut but Laane uses good head movement to avoid it. Laane looks to throw an elbow but misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A head punch on the inside from Squirrel fails to land. Squirrel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Laane's elbow. Laane lands an elbow just above Squirrel 's eye. Squirrel can't find room to land a body shot as Laane controls the action.
Squirrel takes an elbow to the forehead. Laane trying to stall but Squirrel improves his position.
Laane wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Squirrel misses with a body punch.

Squirrel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Laane's elbow. Squirrel tries a body shot but Laane blocks it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Squirrel misses with a hook to the ribs.
Laane manages to break the clinch.
Squirrel throws a looping overhand right but Laane ducks down to avoid it. Squirrel scores with a jab. A lazy left from Laane finds it's target. Squirrel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Laane can pounce on him.
Laane throws a head kick but Squirrel moves out of range.
Laane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Laane throws a right and a left that Squirrel avoids nicely. Squirrel tries to bum rush Laane with a series of wild strikes but Laane uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Squirrel has Laane up against the cage in a clinch.
Squirrel swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Laane tries to land a knee to the head but Squirrel blocks with his arms.
Squirrel swings wildly with an uppercut but Laane uses good head movement to avoid it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Squirrel working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Laane using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Squirrel has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Squirrel swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Squirrel scores with a nice hook to the head. Squirrel has a couple of punches blocked by Laane.
Squirrel tries to throw a body punch but Laane avoids it by throwing Squirrel back against the cage. Squirrel being controlled against the cage. Laane tries to land a knee to the head but Squirrel blocks with his arms.
Squirrel takes a knee right on the jaw!
Laane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Laane forces Squirrel back against the cage and clinches. Squirrel on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Laane is trying to maintain a safe position but Squirrel gets an underhook and turns Laane into the cage. Laane manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Laane lands with a good body shot. Laane dodges the punch combination from Squirrel.
Squirrel lands a left and a right that sends Laane crashing to the canvas! Squirrel dives into mount looking to finish!
Laane is rocked!
It looks like Andrus Laane has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Laane takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Squirrel's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Squirrel! A relieved looking Steve Squirrel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
