Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Kartes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fredrik Stenberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andreas Kartes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fredrik Stenberg! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kartes has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kartes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Stenberg changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kartes fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kartes forces Stenberg back against the cage and clinches. Kartes pressing his opponent against the cage. Kartes taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kartes content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Kartes for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Stenberg letting Kartes take a breather here. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Andreas Kartes. Stenberg leaves Kartes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kartes moves into the clinch successfully.
Stenberg goes for a takedown attempt but Kartes pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kartes swats away the attempt to clinch by Stenberg. Kartes keeps the fight on the outside. Kartes shoots in looking for a takedown but Stenberg manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kartes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Horrible takedown attempt by Kartes or perhaps it was just good defense by Stenberg, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andreas Kartes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kartes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kartes wants it to stay on the feet. Stenberg shoots in for a takedown but Kartes shows good takedown defense. Kartes tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Stenberg manages to circle out of the way. Stenberg fails with the takedown and Kartes counters with a stiff right hand. Kartes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stenberg as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kartes shoots in but no luck this time. Stenberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Kartes is just out of range. Kartes drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stenberg sprawls and moves away. Kartes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stenberg circles away. Stenberg misses the shot to the body. Kartes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kartes keeps the fight on the outside. Kartes wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Stenberg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stenberg shoots for a takedown but Kartes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Stenberg shoots in for a double leg but Kartes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A shot to the liver by Kartes. Beautiful body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kartes closes the distance and pushes Stenberg back into the cage. Kartes successfully pulls guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stenberg slips nicely into half guard. Stenberg prevents Kartes from improving his position. Kartes is breathing heavily. Stenberg is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kartes defends it well. Kartes is controlling Stenberg's position as best he can from this difficult position. Kartes avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stenberg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stenberg passes to side control. Kartes is trying to control Stenberg's posture but Stenberg avoids it. Stenberg is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kartes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Stenberg is looking to take a break and control but Kartes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kartes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stenberg on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kartes wants to get back to his feet but Stenberg drags him back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andreas Kartes will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Stenberg shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stenberg shoots in but Kartes avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kartes appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Kartes pushes Stenberg up against the cage in a clinch. Kartes jumps guard but Stenberg stands there with Kartes around his waist. Kartes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kartes darts in looking for a takedown but Stenberg gets double underhooks and turns Kartes into the cage. Stenberg wants to counter with a clinch but Kartes pushes him away. Stenberg has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Kartes. Stenberg throws a body punch but Kartes moves out of range. Stenberg throws a lazy right hand but Kartes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kartes wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Stenberg shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A little feinted left hand from Kartes on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Andreas Kartes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fredrik Stenberg.

Kartes jumps guard and drags Stenberg to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Stenberg wants to control from the top but Kartes keeps moving. Kartes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Stenberg seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kartes is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
