Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Retsu Kaioh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kearney McGarrity (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGarrity has chosen Payback-Slayer as his entrance music. Kearney McGarrity has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of London, Retsu Kaioh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kearney McGarrity! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaioh takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kaioh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McGarrity can pounce on him.
Kearney McGarrity seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McGarrity misses with a looping right. McGarrity throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kaioh counters with a two punch combo. McGarrity goes for a high kick. It partially lands. McGarrity jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
A telegraphed right hand from McGarrity misses the target. Kaioh tries to clinch but McGarrity moves out of range. Kaioh thumps McGarrity with a low kick. Kaioh will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kaioh walks into a stiff left hand from McGarrity. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Some bone on bone action there as McGarrity checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. McGarrity walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Kaioh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McGarrity checks a leg kick. A jab from McGarrity misses. Kaioh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McGarrity on the side of the head. McGarrity throws a body kick that misses and McGarrity takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGarrity takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kaioh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Kaioh on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. McGarrity throws the left hand but Kaioh avoids the punch easily. Kaioh lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kaioh moves out of range as McGarrity throws a body kick.
McGarrity lands a head kick!
McGarrity fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kaioh checks it well. Kaioh cracks McGarrity with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McGarrity looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kaioh finish him?
McGarrity is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McGarrity gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Kaioh points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. McGarrity wakes up just in time to hear Kaioh thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Retsu Kaioh! Our winner, Retsu Kaioh, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
