The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Richards looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jackson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Richards is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jackson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Richards's back instead.

Richards turns into Jackson and is now in his guard.
Richards drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jackson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Richards has Jackson in his guard.

Jackson is looking to defend but Richards has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jackson! Richards pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jackson taps out and this one is all over!
