Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Gatsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay Gatsby! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Allen! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gatsby misses with a looping right. Allen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gatsby manages to avoid it. Gatsby seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gatsby.
Gatsby tries to clinch there but Allen circles away.
Gatsby takes a jab right on the kisser.
Allen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gatsby. Gatsby obviously looking to wear him down.
Allen throws the left hand but Gatsby avoids the punch easily. Allen just misses with a punch to the body.
Allen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gatsby lands the left hand. Gatsby tries to work over Allen's front leg with a kick but Allen checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gatsby. Gatsby jabbing away but nothing is landing. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Allen! But no joy. Gatsby lands a head shot. Allen throws a body shot but no joy. Gatsby lands an overhand right.
Allen is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fight stays on the outside here - Gatsby looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Allen is still on wobbly legs! Can Gatsby finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Gatsby shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Allen seems to have recovered his senses. Gatsby moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Allen goes down! Can Gatsby finish him!? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gatsby trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom. Gatsby pushes down on Allen's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gatsby stops Allen from getting back to his feet.
Gatsby performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Allen tries to get to full guard but Gatsby has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gatsby is keen to just control but Allen is a slippery customer. This has been an exciting period of action! Allen tries to roll over but Gatsby keeps him under control. Gatsby not doing much here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Gatsby is looking to take a break and control but Allen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Allen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Allen fails to land with a series of punches.
Gatsby tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Allen manages to circle out of the way. Allen has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Gatsby has taken the fight to the clinch.
Allen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen misses with an uppercut. Gatsby looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Gatsby drops his shoulder and cracks Allen with a huge uppercut! Allen goes down! Can Gatsby finish him?

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gatsby looking to pass the guard. Gatsby controlling from the top position. Allen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gatsby's guard.
Gatsby has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Allen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gatsby is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Gatsby dominated that round. That's time! Gatsby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Allen thuds his right hand into Gatsby's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Gatsby tries to clinch but Allen is having none of it. Gatsby scores with a nice head shot. Allen takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Allen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gatsby. Gatsby throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Allen throws the left hand but Gatsby avoids the punch easily. Gatsby bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Gatsby just misses with a punch to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Allen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gatsby counters with a straight right hand. Gatsby throws a leg kick enabling Allen to counter with a crisp jab. Jay Gatsby is winning the standup battle so far. Gatsby with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gatsby uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Allen.
Allen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gatsby. Gatsby wants to clinch up but Allen keeps it at a distance. Allen misses with the combination.
Gatsby wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Gatsby keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Allen throws a body punch but Gatsby moves out of range. Allen swings for the body but Gatsby moves out of range.
Gatsby appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Allen swings and misses with a shot to the body and Gatsby cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Gatsby tries to clinch there but Allen circles away.
Allen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Gatsby throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Allen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Allen misses with a wild body shot. Gatsby misses with a few strikes there.
Allen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gatsby moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Allen misses with an uppercut. Allen misses with a looping left. Gatsby misses with a straight left. Allen misses with an uppercut
and Gatsby moves into the clinch. Gatsby fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Allen manages to break the clinch.
Allen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gatsby showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Allen.
Gatsby is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Allen can do to turn this around? Allen misses the jab. Gatsby is looking to counter the offense by Allen and move into the clinch. Gatsby connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Gatsby ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Allen throws a body punch but Gatsby moves out of range. An attempted straight right counter from Gatsby misses the target. Gatsby scores with a hook. Gatsby with a nice cross.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Allen looks to score with a jab to the body but Gatsby is just out of range. Allen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gatsby.
Gatsby shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A shot to the body from Allen misses and Gatsby counters with a thumping low kick. Allen tests Gatsby's chin there with a solid looking shot. Gatsby takes one to the chin there. and Gatsby counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Allen! He's just covering up as Gatsby starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Gatsby! Post fight, Jay Gatsby took to the microphone: 'My life, old sport, my life... my life has got to be like this... It's got to keep going on.'.
