Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares throws a series of punches but Wilson moves out of range.
Wilson feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Jab, jab by Ares - just one landing.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ares crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wilson - the referee stops the clock and Ares gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wilson. Ares manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ares tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wilson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wilson lands with a cross.
Wilson connects with a looping right hand.
Ares lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wilson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ares looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wilson throws a looping overhand right but Ares ducks down to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Ares! But no joy.

Wilson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ares tries to bum rush Wilson with a series of wild strikes but Wilson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ares takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ares throws a lazy right hand but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ares drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Ares tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wilson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It appears Wilson was looking to counter with a kick there.
Ares wants to clinch up but Wilson keeps it at a distance.
Ares has closed the distance and engaged Wilson in a clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ares looking to throw knees to the head but Wilson is blocking nicely.

Ares tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wilson smiles and moves away.

and Wilson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ares's knee momentarily.
Ares takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Wilson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wilson tries a low kick but Ares avoids it.
As Wilson backs off Ares throws a huge counter combo but Wilson manages to avoid it all.
Ares forces Wilson back against the cage and clinches.
Wilson manages to break the clinch.
Ares throws a right hand that Wilson ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilson also avoids with ease.
Wilson lands a jab-cross combination.
Ares fails to land with a series of punches.
It appears Wilson was looking to counter with a kick there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wilson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ares's calf.
Wilson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Ares tries to clinch but Wilson moves away
and Wilson counters with a solid body kick.
Wilson moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wilson lands a left and a right that send Ares crashing to the mat, dazed. Wilson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ares moves in looking to clinch but Wilson pushes him off.
Wilson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ares with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wilson to score with a decent uppercut.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Wilson! Ares is out on his feet! Wilson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Ares is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Ares is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lance Wilson!
A relieved looking Lance Wilson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
