Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sid Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture has chosen Pride Theme as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaper fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sid Reaper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reaper shoots in but Couture avoids the takedown attempt easily.
A left and a right from Couture both land. Nice combination.
Couture fails to land with a series of punches.
Reaper shoots and misses
and Couture counters with a series of strikes. Reaper will be more careful next time no doubt.

Reaper shoots in and gets a takedown into Couture's guard.
Reaper throws a strike but Couture rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Couture wants to get up but he can't break Reaper's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Reaper is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Couture rolls with it to try and escape but Reaper cranks on the arm and Couture is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Sid Reaper decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
