The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellison looks to land a left hand but Foster moved out of range nicely.
Ellison throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Foster's waist but Foster gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ellison off to one side.

Foster changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Ellison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Foster tries to avoid it but Ellison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Foster to the ground. Foster escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ellison drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foster pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ellison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Foster feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
