Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Donovan Norris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ip Man Bruce Lee! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bruce Lee gets the takedown into side control. Bruce Lee slows the pace down. Bruce Lee is looking to take a break and control but Norris is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee asks Bruce Lee politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Bruce Lee prefers to stall for the moment though. Bruce Lee stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bruce Lee clinches up with Norris and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Norris is trying to pull guard but Bruce Lee turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Bruce Lee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Norris clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Bruce Lee tries to keep control of the position but Norris is staying busy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bruce Lee working for a triangle but Norris defends it easily.
Norris is fighting to break Bruce Lee's control of his arms but Bruce Lee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruce Lee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bruce Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Norris is one step ahead there. Bruce Lee controls Norris momentarily but Norris frees himself. Norris throws a big elbow that misses. Bruce Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Norris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Norris throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bruce Lee managing to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Norris has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bruce Lee is proving hard to escape from.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bruce Lee drives through with a takedown into Norris's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Norris keeping moving, preventing Bruce Lee from controlling successfully. Norris keeping full guard, as Bruce Lee tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Norris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Norris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bruce Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bruce Lee trying to control but Norris is working from the bottom. Bruce Lee trying to stand up but can't free himself from Norris's guard. Bruce Lee throwing strikes from guard but Norris blocks nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bruce Lee closes the distance and clinches. Bruce Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bruce Lee manages to break the clinch.
Bruce Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bruce Lee lands in his opponent's guard. Norris throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Bruce Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Norris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bruce Lee wants to get up but he can't break Norris's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bruce Lee stopping the sweep attempt from Norris. Norris is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Norris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bruce Lee is one step ahead there. Norris is working an open guard so Bruce Lee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bruce Lee closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Norris's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Norris wants to sweep here but Bruce Lee controlling him for the moment. Bruce Lee trying to control but Norris is working from the bottom. Bruce Lee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Norris haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bruce Lee decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Norris, up you get! Bruce Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bruce Lee gets to his feet. Norris looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Donovan Norris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bruce Lee takes the fight into the clinch. Norris's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Norris looking for a takedown. Bruce Lee pulls guard. Bruce Lee has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Norris has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bruce Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Norris uses from the top position.

He catches Norris napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bruce Lee has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bruce Lee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bruce Lee works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ip Man Bruce Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Norris can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bruce Lee is trying to control the position but Norris postures up. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Norris makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bruce Lee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Norris can't keep his opponent in guard - Bruce Lee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bruce Lee is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Norris defends it well. Norris is not content to let Bruce Lee control the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Norris manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Norris wants to sweep here but Bruce Lee controlling him for the moment. Donovan Norris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ip Man Bruce Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Norris isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bruce Lee stacks Norris on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bruce Lee!
And that's the end of the fight! Ip Man Bruce Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bruce Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
