Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guy Georges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Guy Georges! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Marvin Andrews! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Georges misses with a left hand and Georges takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Georges shoots in but no luck this time. Georges has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Andrews misses with a leg kick and Georges counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Georges takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Andrews throws a wild body kick that Georges sees coming a mile off. A solid leg kick lands there for Andrews.
Andrews takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Georges steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Andrews. Georges looks to throw the jab but Andrews is out of range. The fighters circling - Andrews throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A head kick misses from Georges. Andrews dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Georges. That did some damage! Georges throws a hook to the side of Andrews's head but Andrews sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrews ducks under a wild hook from Georges. Georges takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Georges stuns Andrews with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Marvin Andrews seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Andrews swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Georges counter with a right hand. Andrews slips a straight right by Georges. Georges takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Georges drops down looking for a counter takedown but Andrews sprawls and moves away. Georges shoots in but Andrews avoids the takedown attempt easily. Georges avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Andrews connects with the punch. Andrews moves into the clinch successfully.
Andrews's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A right hook to the body lands for Andrews.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Georges tries to pull guard but Andrews forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guy Georges. That's going to take a lot out of him. Georges pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice jab there from Georges. Andrews looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Georges is fending him off so far but Andrews persists. Nope, Georges circles away and we're back to standing. Andrews throws a front kick that sends Georges stumbling back into the cage. Andrews swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Andrews lands with an uppercut that bounces Georges off the cage and back into range. Georges throws out a loose jab but Andrews uses good head movement to avoid it. Andrews looking to score a takedown here. Georges is defending well but Andrews drives through and ends up in Georges's guard. Georges looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Andrews slips nicely into half guard. Andrews lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Georges is trying to control but can't.
Georges keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andrews lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Georges looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Andrews working the head and body with strikes. Andrews missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Andrews is thwarting Georges's attempts to control the position. Andrews is looking to take a break and control but Georges is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Georges wants to improve his position but Andrews is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrews trying to mount his opponent but Georges defends it. Andrews with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Georges on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Andrews sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Georges defending well though. Andrews is nestled in close to Georges, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Andrews trying to pass the guard but Georges defending well. Georges is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Andrews pulls his head out easily. Andrews takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Georges is looking to improve his position.

Andrews thows a leg kick but Georges checks it and Georges counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Georges on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Andrews. Andrews obviously looking to wear him down.
Georges swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Georges is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Andrews keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Andrews stuns Georges with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Andrews looks to land a left hand but Georges moved out of range nicely. Georges displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Andrews throws out the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andrews scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Marvin Andrews seems to be getting the better of the standup. Andrews tries to land a body kick and Georges counters with a takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Andrews is looking to regain half guard here but Georges keeps moving and retains side control. Georges working the strikes but Andrews uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Andrews tries to roll over but Georges keeps him under control. Georges is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Andrews defends it well. Andrews trying to control here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Georges is keen to just control but Andrews is a slippery customer. Georges seems to be looking for submissions.

Andrews has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Georges is working away from the top position though. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Georges missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Andrews felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Andrews manages to get to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Georges trying to control but Andrews is working from the bottom. Georges is in close to Andrews's body, working some short punches and elbows. Georges postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Andrews looking to hit a scissor sweep but Georges is one step ahead there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Georges looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Andrews wants to sweep here but Georges controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andrews misses with a jab, cross combination.
Andrews feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Georges's calf. Nice jab there from Georges. Andrews closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Georges's guard. Andrews sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Georges's guard. Georges trying to hold on to Andrews's head to control him but Andrews postures up.
Georges is pressing down on Andrews's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Georges is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Andrews has his hands clasped together but Georges extends and breaks Andrews's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Georges.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Guy Georges! A very excited looking Guy Georges rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
