Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Hydraulix 13.5 - D.A.V.E. the Drummer & Alex Calver. Mark Lewis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis misses with a body shot.
Gracie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lewis misses with a looping right.
Gracie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lewis throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lewis misses with a looping left.
Gracie moves out of range as Lewis strikes.
Lewis throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Gracie misses with the combination.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Lewis.
Lewis thows a body shot but no joy.

Lewis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gracie sees it coming and defends easily.
Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lewis thows a huge punch but Gracie dodges it nicely.
Gracie seems to have got his legs back now.
Lewis is trying to work for a kimura but Gracie is defending well.
Lewis wants to work for an arm triangle but Gracie is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lewis looks gassed!
The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lewis is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lewis gets to his feet. Gracie looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Lewis throws a body punch but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie slips a straight right by Lewis.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Gracie counters with a left to the body.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
