Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver misses with a hook. Jewpacabra ducked under it nicely.
We've been informed that Silver has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Silver looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jewpacabra throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Silver counters with a left to the body.
El Jewpacabra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silver rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jewpacabra counters with a three punch combo that has Silver backing up. Silver nods at Jewpacabra to acknowledge the strikes.
Jewpacabra thuds his right hand into Silver's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jewpacabra paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jewpacabra throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Silver connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Silver throws a big shot that misses.
Jewpacabra throws a sloppy head kick and Silver moves out of range easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

It looks like Billy Silver has been cut.
Jewpacabra tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jewpacabra wants to clinch up but Silver keeps it at a distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Jewpacabra blocks the leg kick.

Jewpacabra throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silver misses with a leg kick
and Jewpacabra counters by moving into the clinch.
Jewpacabra tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jewpacabra comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Jewpacabra misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Silver.
Silver lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Silver blocks an uppercut.
Jewpacabra breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Silver counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jewpacabra slips a jab from Silver.
Jewpacabra lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Silver lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silver.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A relieved looking Billy Silver thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
