Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Arunas Samusiovas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JT Redman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redman has chosen Breathe by Prodigy as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arunas Samusiovas!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, JT Redman!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redman throws a nice inside leg kick.
Samusiovas seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Redman takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Samusiovas scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Samusiovas lands a front kick.
Redman missing with a left hand there. Samusiovas was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Redman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Redman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Samusiovas manages to avoid it.
Redman lands a jab to Samusiovas's midsection.
Redman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That kick from Redman tenderised Samusiovas's leg. Samusiovas is trying to keep his angry face on.
Redman misses with an uppercut
and Samusiovas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


It looks like JT Redman has been cut.
JT Redman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Samusiovas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Samusiovas scores with a nice head shot.
Redman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.


It looks like Arunas Samusiovas has been cut.

and Samusiovas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Redman thinking.
Redman looks to land a left hand but Samusiovas moved out of range nicely.

Redman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Redman does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Redman stalks Samusiovas and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Samusiovas's face. Samusiovas staggers backwards, shaken.
Redman circles away from the clinch attempt.
Samusiovas moves forwards but Redman connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Samusiovas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Redman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Samusiovas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Redman.
Samusiovas tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Redman manages to circle out of the way.
Redman throws a leg kick but Samusiovas sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Samusiovas throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Redman throws a poor cross that misses
and Samusiovas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Donk. Samusiovas catches Redman right on the button with a cross.
Samusiovas throws a low kick but it's checked well by Redman.
Redman misses with a looping right.
Samusiovas seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Samusiovas defending well as Redman loads up on a big left hand.
Redman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As Redman tries to get set, Samusiovas tries to push him back and clinch up but Redman manages to avoid the attempt.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Samusiovas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Redman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Redman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Samusiovas lands with an uppercut that bounces Redman off the ropes and back into range.
Redman misses with a low kick.

and Samusiovas counters with an outside leg kick.
Samusiovas lands with a thumping leg kick.
Samusiovas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Samusiovas counters by moving into the clinch.
Redman lands a hook to the side of the head.
Redman has a couple of punches blocked by Samusiovas.
Samusiovas struggles to land a body shot inside as Redman controls his hands.
Samusiovas lands a shoulder strike.
Samusiovas pushes Redman back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Samusiovas tries to work over Redman's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Redman drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Redman on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and before Redman has any time to reset, Samusiovas cracks him with a big right hand that drops him face first to the canvas! He's hurt! I don't think he's going to get back up from that one! He's trying but he's doing the chicken dance and has face planted into to ropes, causing the referee to bring this fight to an end! This one is all over!
