Tracey's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Metallica - Seek & Destroy. Sykk has chosen Rage Against The Machine - Killing In The Name as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vesa Sykk!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping body kick lands there for Sykk.
Tracey throws an off balance right hand
and Sykk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sykk connects with the punch.
Sykk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tracey seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Sykk keeps Tracey at a distance using the push kick.
Sykk misses with a kick to the body
and Tracey counters with a stiff right hand.
Sykk takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tracey takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Sykk lands with an overhand left.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tracey blocks a head kick by Sykk.
A combination from Tracey does no damage.
Sykk turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sykk loads up on a big right hand but Tracey slips the punch.
Sykk tries a head kick but it misses.
Tracey takes a kick to the side of the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sykk.
Sykk jabs Tracey to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Vesa Sykk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sykk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sykk checks a leg kick.
Sykk fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sykk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tracey blocks the body kick.
Tracey feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Tracey takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Tracey avoids the head kick by Sykk.
Tracey appears to be looking for a big counter.
Sykk throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tracey scores with a jab. Sykk acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tracey throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sykk throws a hook to the side of Tracey's head but Tracey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tracey misses the jab.
Sykk lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tracey misses with a low kick as Sykk jumps back.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sykk lands a nice looking body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sykk feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tracey's calf.
Sykk tries to clinch up.
Tracey walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sykk. That's going to slow Tracey down.
Tracey misses with a low kick as Sykk jumps back.
Sykk takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tracey darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Tracey misses with a wild combination.
Sykk pushes Tracey away with a front kick.
Sykk takes a swing at Tracey's ribcage but misses.
Sykk looks to land a body kick but Tracey moved away.
Sykk tries to land a front kick but Tracey steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A little feinted left hand from Tracey on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A chopping leg kick lands by Tracey.
Tracey misses with a wild body shot.
Tracey swats away the attempt to clinch by Sykk.
A punch lands to the side of Tracey 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Tracey is looking to score with low kicks.
Tracey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tracey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sykk. That did some damage!
Sykk tries to clinch but Tracey is having none of it.
Sykk works the jab nicely.
Tracey missing with a left hand there. Sykk was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sykk misses with a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Tracey.
Tracey throwing a counter right hand but Sykk manages to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
An inside leg kick lands from Sykk.

Sykk clinches up against the cage.

Tracey breaks from the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tracey defending well as Sykk loads up on a big left hand.
Tracey scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tracey lands a leg kick that knocks Sykk off balance momentarily.
Tracey misses with a looping right.
Tracey lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tracey stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Sykk throws a predictable looking body shot
and Tracey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tracey pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sykk swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A little feinted left hand from Tracey on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Tracey is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sykk.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vesa Sykk dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Tracey throws a right hand that misses
and Sykk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


It looks like Rob Tracey has been cut.
Sykk throws a wild body kick that Tracey sees coming a mile off.
Sykk connects with a crisp jab.
Sykk thuds his shin into the meat of Tracey's side.
Sykk throws a head kick that Tracey semi-blocks.


Tracey is rocked!
Sykk has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sykk.
Oh Tracey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Some wild striking there from Tracey.
Sykk drops Tracey with a huge uppercut! Tracey drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Sykk is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vesa Sykk!
