Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Blind Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Latham Lawton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blind Mouse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Latham Lawton! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawton on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Mouse works Lawton's body with a nice hook. Mouse scores with a sloppy right hand. Lawton should have avoided that one. Mouse definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mouse lands a lovely overhand right. Mouse is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Lawton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mouse throws out the jab. Lawton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mouse.
Mouse misses with a straight right. Mouse lands with a straight right. Lawton didn't see that one coming. Lawton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mouse dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mouse throws a big shot that misses. Lawton fails with a takedown attempt. Mouse throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lawton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mouse thows a left - swing and a miss! Lawton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mouse tries to avoid it but Lawton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mouse to the ground. Mouse escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mouse lands a glancing blow to the side of Lawton's head. Lawton slips under a jab from Mouse. Mouse cracks Lawton with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Mouse lands with a right hand. Lawton slips under a jab. Mouse wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Mouse scores with a hook. Mouse circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lawton takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Lawton keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mouse. Blind Mouse is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lawton blocks a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lawton darts in looking for a takedown but Mouse gets double underhooks and turns Lawton into the cage. Mouse appears to be looking for a big counter. Blind Mouse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Latham Lawton. Mouse rushes Lawton and presses him up against the cage. Mouse breaks from the clinch.
Mouse slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Lawton has his takedown stuffed and Mouse counters with a nice uppercut. Mouse throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lawton counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lawton. Lawton stops Mouse from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mouse on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mouse tries to get out of the position. Lawton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lawton stops Mouse from standing up. Lawton slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mouse wants to stand but Lawton is controlling the position. Lawton trying to control the position from guard on top but Mouse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Mouse is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mouse, as that shot connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lawton shoots in looking for a takedown but Mouse manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lawton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mouse lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A slow jab from Mouse misses its intended target. Mouse looks to throw the jab but Lawton is out of range. Lawton tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Nice straight punches there by Mouse. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mouse. Mouse scores with a punch to the head. Lawton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lawton is rocked! Mouse jabs at Lawton's body. Lawton is still on wobbly legs! Can Mouse finish him? Lawton looks up at the clock. Bad move! Mouse lands a right hand from hell, dropping Lawton. Mouse pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blind Mouse!
