Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Wise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kruikkoo Malachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malachi has chosen Built to Destroy as his entrance music. Malachi has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kruikkoo Malachi! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malachi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wise. Malachi looks winded! Malachi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Malachi wants it to stay on the feet. Malachi looks to land a body kick but Wise moved away. Wise closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Wise can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanley Wise. That's going to take a lot out of him. A frustrated look appears on Malachi's face as he tries to break the clinch. Wise wants a takedown but no success here.

Malachi stalling in the clinch but Wise improves position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wise is trying to drag Malachi to the mat but Malachi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Malachi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Malachi as Wise shoots in. Wise is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice defenses there by Wise. Wise is looking for a counter combo. Wise fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Malachi sprawls well initially but Wise persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wise slips a nice elbow through Malachi's hands, connecting with Malachi's forehead. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Malachi can do anything to dispel that myth. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wise connects with a nice short shot to Malachi's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malachi on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ground and pound from Wise. Wise lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Wise lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wise working over Malachi with some ground and pound. Malachi looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
