Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shane Myler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Nicholas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shane Myler has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Nicholas!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jorge Garcia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myler takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Nicholas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nicholas rolls, trying to escape but Myler keeps control of the position.

Nicholas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Nicholas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Myler gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Myler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nicholas is working away from the top position though.
Nicholas is nestled in close to Myler, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Myler wants to control but Nicholas is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Myler is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nicholas seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Nicholas looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Myler with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Nicholas around the waist but Nicholas pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Nicholas is the winner by TKO! Nicholas jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Nicholas!
