Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Adriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Frombois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luiz Adriano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Frombois! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frombois dodges the punch combination from Adriano.
Frombois fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Adriano, pushing him back against the cage. Adriano tries for a takedown but Frombois manages to get underhooks.
Adriano tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Frombois smiles and moves away.
Frombois gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Adriano wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adriano is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Frombois pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Adriano. That's going to take a lot out of him. Frombois drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Adriano gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Adriano wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Frombois has him pressed against the cage. Adriano tries to circle away but Frombois has him pinned against the cage. Frombois is looking to take this one to the mat. Frombois blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Frombois blocks a body shot from Adriano. Frombois is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Adriano pulls him back up using the underhooks. Frombois has Adriano pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Frombois pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Adriano tumbling to the mat - Frombois dives into Adriano's guard. Frombois stands and steps away. Adriano gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Frombois dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Adriano looks to land a combination but Frombois avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frombois clinches. Frombois pulls guard. Adriano missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Adriano being controlled here momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frombois keeping full guard, as Adriano tries to pass. Adriano has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Frombois keeping moving, preventing Adriano from controlling successfully. Frombois looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frombois is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Frombois has Adriano pulled in close to control his posture. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adriano preventing the sweep.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A momentary lapse in concentration from Frombois enables Adriano to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Frombois manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adriano being controlled here momentarily. Frombois keeping full guard, as Adriano tries to pass. Frombois pulls Adriano in to control the position. Adriano throwing strikes from guard but Frombois blocks nicely. Frombois scrambles and gets back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Adriano shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Frombois defends it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Frombois dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Adriano tries to clinch there but Frombois circles away.
Frombois shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Adriano sprawls well. Adriano wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Frombois gets slowly back to his feet. Adriano darts in looking for a takedown but Frombois gets double underhooks and turns Adriano into the cage. Adriano shoots in for a takedown but Frombois shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Adriano shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frombois as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Adriano. That's going to take a lot out of him. Adriano tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. That's one minute gone in the round. Frombois jumps into guard, dragging Adriano to the mat.
Frombois has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Frombois striking off his back but it's not causing Adriano any problems. Adriano tries to free his leg and advance position but Frombois is retaining full guard. Frombois will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Adriano trying to control but Frombois is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Frombois looking for a guillotine here but Adriano defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Adriano won't allow Frombois to sweep him here. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Adriano in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Frombois swats away the attempt to clinch by Adriano. Adriano stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Adriano wants it to stay on the feet. Frombois fails to land with a series of punches.
Frombois shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Adriano pinned against the cage. Adriano gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Adriano thinks about countering with a body kick. Frombois closes this distance looking for a takedown but Adriano circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adriano shoots in and drives through. Frombois sprawls well. Frombois stuffs the takedown. Frombois swats away the attempt to clinch by Adriano. Frombois is looking for the big counter here. Frombois tries for a takedown but Adriano sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Frombois clinches up against the cage. Frombois wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Adriano has him pressed against the cage. Frombois is trying to break the clinch but Adriano is controlling him. Frombois tries to score a body lock takedown but Adriano shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Frombois tries to break free but Adriano pushes him back against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nice body kick there by Adriano. Adriano fails in his attempt to clinch. Frombois gets a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Frombois showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Adriano is defended easily by Frombois. Adriano with a poor takedown and Frombois makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Frombois clinches. Frombois is pushing Adriano up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Frombois stalling against the cage.
Frombois continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Frombois shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Adriano as he avoids it easily. Frombois closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Frombois wants to free his trapped foot but Adriano is holding on for dear life with his legs. Frombois stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frombois is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Adriano has managed to free his arm - good work. Frombois is controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frombois's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Adriano is looking for a sweep. Frombois is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Frombois shoots in for a takedown but Adriano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Adriano throws a half hearted mid kick. Adriano shoots and misses and Frombois counters with a stiff right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Frombois clinches up against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Adriano is trying to break the clinch but Frombois has him pressed against the cage. Frombois jumps guard but Adriano stands there with Frombois around his waist. Frombois gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Frombois keeps control of Adriano as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Luiz Adriano has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Frombois is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Adriano pushes off an throws an elbow but Frombois leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! John Frombois comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Frombois has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
