Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wick is looking to chop away at Klaasen's legs.
Wick with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Klaasen to score with a decent uppercut.
Wick with a poor takedown
and Klaasen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice uppercut lands for Klaasen. That snapped Wick's head back.
A cross from Klaasen lands.
Wick walks into a left hand.
Wick shoots in looking for a takedown. Klaasen tries to sprawl out of it but Wick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Klaasen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Klaasen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wick tries for a takedown but Klaasen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jurgen Klaasen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Wick.

Wick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Klaasen but Klaasen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Klaasen swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Wick tries for a takedown but Klaasen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wick shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Klaasen pinned against the cage. Klaasen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Wick shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Klaasen as he jumps to the side.
Klaasen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jurgen Klaasen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wick shoots in but Klaasen avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Klaasen throws a good cross that connects.
Wick looks for a takedown but Klaasen sprawls well.
Klaasen is looking to counter punch.
Klaasen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wick's hands.
Wick takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Klaasen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wick.

and Klaasen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wick looks winded!
Wick throws a head kick that misses.
Klaasen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wick doesn't seem bothered though.

and Klaasen counters with a left to the body.
Klaasen cracks a nice hook into Wick's ribs.
Wick has his takedown stuffed
and Klaasen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A jab from Klaasen does it's job there.
Wick takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wick is rocked!
Klaasen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wick is still on wobbly legs! Can Klaasen finish him?
Klaasen lands with an overhand left.
Wick has his takedown stuffed
and Klaasen scores with a counter punch that sends Wick to the canvas! Klaasen smells blood - he's punishing Wick with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Wick has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jurgen Klaasen!
