The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zanik closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stylez to the mat! Stylez manages to get full guard.

Zanik tries to free his leg and advance position but Stylez is retaining full guard.

Zanik seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Zanik thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zanik wants to pass the guard but Stylez is keeping the position.
Zanik not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Zanik stands and throws Stylez's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Zanik is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Stylez's shoulder. That is not cool.
Stylez tries to improve position but can't.

Zanik has hold of Stylez's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Stylez seems comfortable defending it but Zanik has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Stylez is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Stylez is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Zanik couldn't care less - he's delighted!
