Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Igor Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Igor Quincy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Barker! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quincy gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Quincy lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Quincy tightens his grip and picks Barker up, before dumping him to the ground. Barker manages to land in guard. Quincy controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barker controls Quincy momentarily but Quincy frees himself. Quincy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barker swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quincy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Barker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Barker misses with a double jab.
Barker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Quincy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Quincy wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Barker dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Barker fails to land with a series of punches.
Quincy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Barker misses with a body punch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Quincy. Quincy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Quincy looks to land a body kick but Barker moved away. Barker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Barker thuds his shin into the meat of Quincy's side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quincy lands with a cross. Quincy throws a lazy uppercut
and Barker counters with a nice body kick.
Quincy is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

It looks like Igor Quincy has been cut. Quincy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barker, pushing him back against the cage. Quincy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Barker throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Quincy tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. A shot in the inside from Quincy. A head punch on the inside from Quincy fails to land. Quincy lands a left hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Quincy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Quincy wants to advance to full mount but Barker doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Barker working a defensive guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Barker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Quincy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Barker looking for a sweep. Not yet Barker, not yet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Quincy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Quincy showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Barker wants to sweep here but Quincy controlling him for the moment. Barker trying to control the position.

Barker throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Quincy counter with a right hand. Quincy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Quincy has closed the distance and engaged Barker in a clinch.

Quincy throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Barker blocks it with crossed arms. Barker avoids a wild elbow strike from Quincy. Quincy tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Barker avoids it. Igor Quincy has scored more points in the clinch so far. Barker throws a punch but it's blocked by Quincy. Barker misses with a short punch on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quincy is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Quincy fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

A punch lands to the side of Barker 's head but he takes it in his stride. Barker takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Quincy shoots in and gets a takedown into Barker's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quincy trying to control the position from guard on top but Barker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quincy stopping the sweep attempt from Barker. Quincy looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Quincy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. This is a sustained period of stalling by Quincy.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Barker throws a leg kick which misses Quincy's front leg but catches the back leg as Quincy tries to avoid it. Barker blocks a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body kick there by Barker. Quincy drives through with a takedown into guard. Quincy trying to control but Barker is working from the bottom. Barker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Quincy tries to free his leg and advance position but Barker is retaining full guard. Igor Quincy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Barker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Quincy controls the pace. Quincy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Barker moves out of range of the strikes. Barker is looking for the big counter here. Barker lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Barker thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Quincy if he has to take too many more of those.
Quincy moves into range and clinches up with Barker. Quincy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Barker backwards. Quincy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Barker can do to turn this around? Quincy on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Quincy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Igor Quincy dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Igor Quincy's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Quincy connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Barker slips under a jab. Quincy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Quincy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Quincy missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Barker gets caught flat footed, as Quincy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Quincy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Barker wants to sweep here but Quincy controlling him for the moment. Quincy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quincy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The referee asks Quincy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Quincy prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Quincy working away.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Quincy misses with a wild combination.
Barker cracks Quincy with a right hand to the side of the head. Barker gets tackled into the cage by Quincy. Quincy maintains the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Quincy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Barker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Igor Quincy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Quincy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that's the end of the fight! Igor Quincy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Quincy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
