Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Viking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Viking is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jay Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Peter Viking! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Viking is trying hard to land a takedown here. Walker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Walker tries to counter with a takedown but Viking is quick to defend against it. No luck for Viking with that takedown attempt. Walker closes the distance and pushes Viking back into the cage. Viking is trying to force a seperation but Walker has the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker lands with a left to the head. Viking looking to slow down the pace here. Walker using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Walker no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Walker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Viking's guard. Walker postures up and lands a big shot to Viking's brow. Viking wants to stand but Walker is controlling the position. Walker controlling from the top position. Viking trying to keep a closed guard but Walker is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker wants to control from the top but Viking keeps moving. Walker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Viking has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Walker has managed to get both his arms back between Viking's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Viking is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Viking wants to sweep but no luck. Walker is posturing up here but Viking has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Walker tries to roll out but it's too tight and Walker has to tap! Slick submission there by Viking!
