Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Longwe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaxon Fields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fields has chosen Pretty Handsome Awkward as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fields throws a head kick but Longwe moves out of range.
Longwe fails to land the takedown.
Fields lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Fields shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Longwe stuffs the takedown attempt from Fields. Fields gets slowly back to his feet.
Longwe changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Fields tries to clinch up.
Longwe quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Longwe misses with a low kick.

Longwe scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Fields is trying to control Longwe's posture but Longwe avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fields throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fields tries to buck Longwe off but Longwe is having none of it.

Fields is trying to escape the position but Longwe is controlling the position.
Longwe tries to advance to mount but Fields denies him.
Fields is trying to control Longwe's posture but Longwe avoids it.
Fields trying his best to control but Longwe has mounted him.
Fields tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fields is still trying to improve position.
Longwe lands a big shot there that rocks Fields but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Fields tries to hold on but Longwe postures up.

Longwe has hold of Fields's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fields manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fields is trying to escape the mount.
Fields wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Longwe working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Fields is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Longwe has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Fields taps out!
