Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marc Aslund (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aslund comes to the cage accompanied by The Rasmus - The Fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aslund throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Rampage's head.
Nice sprawl there from Rampage as Aslund shoots in.
Aslund fails to land the takedown.
Aslund wants to clinch up but Rampage keeps it at a distance.

Rampage drives through with a takedown into Aslund's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Aslund wants to get back to his feet but Rampage is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rampage must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Rampage has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Aslund is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rampage yanks on the arm and Aslund is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rampage.
