Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Grimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stevenson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Biggie Hypnotize. Denis Stevenson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Stevenson closes the distance and clinches up with Grimes, looking for a takedown. Stevenson pushes Grimes against the cage but Grimes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Grimes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Grimes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Stevenson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Grimes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stevenson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Stevenson has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad The Island. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Stevenson is sitting in close to Grimes's body. Grimes has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Stevenson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Stevenson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Grimes.
