Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bang Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 40 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bang Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Lynch!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lynch fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bang to the ground. Lynch is now in Bang's guard.
Lynch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lynch trying to control the position from guard on top but Bang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bang is adopting a defensive guard.
Lynch postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bang can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lynch controls the pace.

Lynch cracks Bang with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Bang fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lynch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Bang Bang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lynch throws a half hearted mid kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bang. Lynch does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lynch stalks Bang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bang's face. Bang staggers backwards, shaken.
Bang bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
It looked like Bang wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bang misses with a wild body shot.
Bang throws a lazy right hand but Lynch sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bang smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lynch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bang.

Bang takes one to the chin there.
Bang throws a body shot but no joy.
Bang throws the left hand but Lynch avoids the punch easily.

Oooh a lovely combination from Lynch sends Bang down but not out. Lynch dives into side control looking to finish.


Bang is rocked!


It looks like Bang Bang has been cut.
Bang is trying to escape the position but Lynch is controlling the position.
Oh Bang is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lynch tries for a kimura but Bang is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bang is looking to regain half guard here but Lynch keeps moving and retains side control.

Bang throws a front kick aimed at Lynch's knee but Lynch avoids it well.
Nice straight punches there by Lynch. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lynch.

It looked like Bang was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Lynch.

Lynch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bang.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lynch! But no joy.
Eric Lynch seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Lynch pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bang is out of range and Lynch settles back down.
Bang has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lynch.
Bang with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lynch to score with a decent uppercut.
Lynch has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bang loads up on a big right hand but Lynch slips the punch.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bang darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bang chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lynch can pounce on him.
Eric Lynch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lynch uses his free foot to push down on Bang's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bang.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Lynch throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Bang walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lynch checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Bang steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lynch. That one must have hurt.

Lynch now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Bang's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lynch connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bang scrambles back to his feet.

Eric Lynch is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Bang is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Lynch throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bang on the side of the head.

Bang takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Lynch feints and then cracks Bang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bang down.
Lynch's coach down at The Cooker was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lynch's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Lynch tries to bum rush Bang with a series of wild strikes but Bang uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bang pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lynch back to the cage. Bang follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Eric Lynch comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lynch has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
